Life Surge’s Inspirational Lineup for Upcoming Events

There’s a reason Life Surge events are selling out in cities across America. The Christian business and personal development organization is attracting some of the most famous faces in the faith industry.

With a mission of inspiring and equipping Christians to “live their lives God’s way,” Life Surge has revealed a star-studded roster of guest speakers. On July 13, two-time national college football champion Tim Tebow, Auntie Anne’s pretzel shops founder Anne Beiler, and Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson will speak at a Life Surge event in Reading, Pennsylvania. Christian singer and songwriter Natalie Grant will also perform.

On Aug. 3, top motivational speaker Nick Vujicic will speak alongside Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton, star of NBC’s The Profit Marcus Lemonis, and many others at Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Bethel Music stars Paul McClure and Bethany Wohrle will perform.

Life Surge CEO Joe Johnson shared that acclaimed Christian musician David Crowder will be joining an upcoming event on Sept. 14 in Charlotte, North Carolina. “If you’ve never been to a Crowder live event, I would consider Crowder the best live musician there is today,” Johnson reveals. Crowder, who recently released a new album, is known for his energetic performances and unique blend of folk, bluegrass, and electronic music.

Life Surge is also branching out to include other Hollywood voices. Kelsey Grammer, beloved for his roles in Frasier and Cheers, appeared at a Boston event on June 22.

Fans of the hit TV show Shark Tank who attended Life Surge’s Tampa in-person event on June 29, got to see one of the show’s stars, Robert Herjavec, take the stage. Johnson noted that they’ve been following Herjavec’s faith journey and are thrilled to have him participate. The successful entrepreneur and investor has been known to share valuable business insights with attendees.

How Many People Attend Life Surge?

If you’re wondering how many people attend Life Surge events, nearly 100,000 attendees flock to Life Surge’s live events annually.

Johnson emphasizes the transformative nature of Life Surge events, highlighting the power of gathering in person, and recalls a crowd of 8,000 attending a Seattle event. “We did a gospel presentation for those who wanted to change their lives and give their lives to Christ,” he explains. “We had 1,257 people stand up and give their lives to Christ.”

Rob Collins, Life Surge’s chief marketing officer, adds, “Especially if you come from a smaller church, you’ve never been with more maybe than a couple hundred people, and all of a sudden you’re surrounded with thousands of people and you’re worshiping together and you’re learning together and you’re being challenged together. That’s really powerful.”

And the movement is growing. Johnson revealed that the company has surged over 46,000% over the past three years alone.

In 2019, when Life Surge was just a tiny mustard seed, finding boldface names to headline its stages was a struggle. “Now we have the opposite problem. We just do not have the room, and speakers are coming to us and reaching out, ‘How do I speak for Life Surge?’” Johnson marvels.

While the star power of their speakers is undoubtedly a draw, Johnson emphasizes that the organization is “too preoccupied thinking about what is the legacy of our attendees” rather than building its own legacy.

He referenced popular speaker Ed Mylett, who often discusses how individuals can change the trajectory of their families’ legacies. “It’s not about Life Surge, it’s really about the people who are attending Life Surge and having the opportunity to really change the direction that their family’s headed,” Johnson states.

For those interested in attending a Life Surge event, Johnson offers this advice: “Come with an open mind and just enjoy each step of the way. Don’t try to get ahead of it. Really just be part of the experience.

“Don’t be late,” Johnson says. “ You miss the journey. Get started on the journey at the same time with everybody else.”
