It is possible to start the 2-day trek from Thatyur, but the climb to Nag Mandir is very steep and exhausting when the scenery opens up and there is only one spot of water when you are already nearby. so this may not be the best choice. the campsite that day. If you follow the Thatyur route, camp at Nag Mandir, reach the summit the next day, and reach Patwari at the end of the day.

The terrain from Pantwari to Nag Tibba peak is very gradual with no steep sections longer than 5-10 minutes. The absence of these steep climbs allows hikers to enjoy the beauty scattered about. This is even more true for beginners. Beginners are less patient than more experienced trekkers and want their hard work to pay off quickly (read Hiking). That’s what happens in Nag Tiva. After 2-3 hours of trekking, camp at Nagmandir and enjoy his 180-degree views of the Himalayas. Nag Mandir is a beautiful campsite surrounded by Rhododendron forest on one side and Deodar forest on the other. The sunsets are as beautiful as any other campground in the Himalayas.

Once you reach the top, enjoy views of India’s highest mountain, Nanda Devi, and Bandar Poonch. Best of all, it’s a circular hike if you plan it right. Doing the loop is always a better experience than backtracking the same road because the scenery on the way back is different, and it keeps you motivated throughout the time you spend on the road.
