This week’s new Apple Arcade release is an Apple Arcade Original: Subway Surfers Tag (). Subway Surfers Tag is the first spin-off game in the series that has you using a jetpack, spinning, grinding combos, and more. It supports controllers as well. I played a ton of the original game years ago, and it is going to be interesting to see how this does on Apple Arcade given the popularity of Subway Surfers. Check it out here on Apple Arcade. Watch the trailer for it below:
As usual, there have been a few notable updates alongside today’s new release. Simon’s Cat – Story Time adds Chloe’s Light Lunch letting you collect tiles to earn reward across new levels. Red Games Co has two updates this week. Solitaire Stories brings in Spider Solitaire, a brand new story inspired by Alice in Wonderland, and a lot more. Transformers: Tactical Arena adds in a new card type: Assassins, new rare cards, difficulty selection for practice battles, new card collector events, and more. Tetris Beat brings in new interfaces for specific modes, new visuals for Fever Time, Fever Time improvements, and performance improvements.
The final update for the week is Badland Party bringing in challenges featuring 25 new levels split into three game modes, five new characters, easier matchmaking, improved controls, and more.
